Mad Hadder Cake
I was asked to make a Mad Hadder cake for church. I had two pictures of two different cakes so I combined the two and this is what I came up with. I ran out of time and only just made it to the church on time but there was more I would have liked to have done with it. I don't think it turned out to badly for my first totally fondant cake, do you?

Old Fart Cake
Yes, its a cake of a bottom. It was made for a man my husband works with and all the guy workers wanted a funny cake. It's a cake that is suppose to look like a "plumber's bottom" cake. Its not my best work but I wanted to post it anyway. It turned out cute anyway I think so I wanted to share it.

LSU Birthday cake
So what do you do when your hubby calls you and asks if you can make a cake for someone? Well I made he cake, ha ha. I knew this man liked football and was turning 30 so this is what I came up with. He was pleased and I was glad I could make his birthday a little bit special.
I only put the 30's on the cake instead of all the field numbers b/c this guy was turning 30 so I thought it looked better this way. It tasted pretty good too!

Grooms cake
My youngest cousin Brittany got married this July and asked if I'd make the grooms cake. I agreed and since David likes chess that is what I made. I think it turned out pretty good. It was chocolate cake with white chocolate and cream cheese filling and chocolate buttercream icing. It was very tasty and I'm glad I tried out this new filling to go with it because I got a few compliments on its taste too. You can see the cheese board I used in the background. I put the chess pieces on at the reception and decorated it with roses that matched with wedding cake my mom made. I think both cakes turned out very well!
